BSCI Brief:
Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).

This standard is the Code of Conduct (COC) established by Europe and is a common standard for multinational companies' retailers or traders to supervise their global supplier or manufacturer's social responsibility performance.
Launched by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA).

At present, more and more retailers and international buyers are joining the organization, including Carrefour, Metro, Lindex, KarstadtQuelle, OTTO and so on.
BSCI is also affiliated with SAAS jurisdiction and it can be regarded as the entry-level version of SA 8000. The content is similar to SA8000, but unlike SA8000, it has more management system requirements and is a second-party audit service.

BSCI Audit Project:
The first part: inspection of basic company data.
Part II: Compliance Inspection of BSCI Standards.
Part III: Compliance with the SA 8000 standard. (The audit result is used as a follow-up qualification measure for BSCI.)

BSCI Planning Stage:
The first stage:
1. The inventory of compliance with labor laws.
2. Appraisal of suitability of personnel regulations.
Second stage:
1. A review and internal communication on the appropriateness of factory regulations.
2. Cooperate with regulatory remediation operations.
3. Establish a social responsibility-related document system and conduct education and training.
Third stage:
1. Identify improvement opportunities through the internal check mechanism.
2. Track improvement of missing items.
3. Continuously monitor and review system performance.
